Lately I had a chance to read "The Hunting of Man: A History of the Sniper" by Andy Dougan.

Although Dougan is no sniper (he's a historian and a journalist) I think that the book was quite decent. Learned a lot about 'Nam era Scout/Snipers, how the sniper scoupe came to be and about snipers during the First Great War.
Has anyone read this book ? what were Your impresions ?

So far I can only find it being sold in England. I'll have to order it. Thanks for the heads up. It looks interesting.
