The China Thread (Threat)

If the Philippines decided for statehood instead of independence, you folks think that the Chinese would be even trying to bully as aggressive as they've been?

They ended up ramming each other instead of the Philippines Coast Guard, LMAO.

This picture and its backstory gave me a YUGE freedom boner.
YUGE.

Trump has to punch China in the eye at some point.
Meh. I think the world is orienting to China bad, America good again. Let the tariffs continue to harm them financially, keep up the pressure on other soft fronts and stay out of the way of the collapse.

China isn't attacking anyone, sabre rattling aside. They don't want the smoke.

Agree.

There's one thing that the whole world respects: power. And the willingness to use it. Well, I guess that's two things.

The international language of the world isn't English, it's violence.

This might be the only part of the 100/400 year dynastic plans of China that's really a drawback. If you have a 100 year plan, it's really not in your best interest to get into a war with a superpower that will glass your entire country. So, China is left with endless threats and rhetoric, and now those words have no bite.

Said it before, said it again- China (until proven otherwise) is a paper tiger. They can steal IP, they can lie about every economic number and inflate military capacity all they want- they're a recession away from starvation and 3 generations away from a population so old and decimated that there won't be any option for the people but revolt. Just let it happen.

When you have entire cities devoid of people and a population so erratic that you clumsily and ineffectively have to manage birth rates...c'mon. Their economy constantly teeters on the brink of collapse. If we've learned nothing else over the last millennium, your ability to wage war is only as good as your economy.

Every American company that leaves China, even if they remain overseas, weakens it that much more. That's how we can beat China without firing a single shot.

Canada is going to bend over to China because the party and Prime Minister in charge, are owned by the CCP. We're fucked.

All the more reason to hedge your bets and play nice with DJT. Canada can't prop up China's economy like America so Canada and China have a vested interest in keeping China in business.

Exactly. And no violent responsive reaction to violence is saying it's okay to keep doing it.

Now I am feeling more validated in my decision to not buy things made in China unless by absolute no other ways around it necessities.

I avoid China when I can, but Pakistan is a 100% No policy in my house. Fuck Pakistan.
I have only one Chinesium optic on one of my rifles. My now deceased Navy Seabee GW1 vet friend who died from stage 4 from the oil fields he was working on to put out the fires, gifted me it for my birthday. He was a good dude, I honor his memory because in his words a commie rifle needs a commie optic.

RIP Mike.

While I wouldn't sell those commie shitsacks short, I'm inclined to agree with the "just let them implode" crowd. My only real concern is a relatively short-term one: if things start falling apart on a wide-enough scale in China and the CCP doesn’t handle it well, they may elect to play the “unify the people through an external threat” card. We’re the only game in town to make that a viable concern for the average Chinese citizen.

I feel like this is yet another term I probably don't want to Google.

The Himalayan Pink Salt thing is legit; it’s just salt, mined in Pakistan. Some people consider it gourmet. There are other sources of pink salt—South America, Australia—but each one has it’s own trace minerals, changing the flavor profiles a bit. To me, it's just salt. I probably have too many years behind Herks to be able to tell.
