The China Thread (Threat)

They don't have VTOL jets, only helos. The blue and white structure down the port side is covering a catapult for UAVs. What's curious is you never see the stern of the flight deck where the arresting gear would be for those UAVs. Unless they built it to handle the thermal loads of a VTOL fighter that doesn't exist, they would have to update this ship like we did for our F-35s.

If you need a catapult to launch your UAVs, then you are carrying some beasts in the UAV department.

Looks like they copied and reversed engineered a lot of things. Truly innovative.

Does it have shake awake, solar recharging, umteen different reticles and colors of said umpteen reticles, and sells below the Western standards????? Where's the side battery tray????

F China, and F anyone who buys Holosun whom knowingly is known to them that they are directly funding and helping with the development of weapon sight technology for the PLA.

Holosun - Chinese or American?

So actually, they're acquiring F-35Bs. Tests on the JS Kaga began in October.

Kaga started refit in 2022. Izumo began testing with USMC F-35Bs in 2023. They've ordered 42 F-35Bs as of 2023. Japan Prepares For F-35B Carrier Operations - Naval News

Cybersecurity is like anything else, only as strong as the weakest link. I'll spare you the nerd admin rant on how this is supposed to be prevented, but the nerd tech rant is to keep your security patches and firmware up to date. Long passwords. Complex is great (the DoD has lied to us all of these years), but length matters (that's what she said).

Cybersecurity isn't hard, people are just lazy.

The US Treasury Department notified lawmakers on Monday that a China state-sponsored actor infiltrated Treasury workstations in what officials are describing as a “major incident.”

In a letter reviewed by CNN, a Treasury official said it was informed by a third-party software service provider on December 8 that a threat actor used a stolen key to remotely access certain Treasury workstations and unclassified documents.

A gov't network was breached because a third-party didn't do its job. Strong work.

Can someone explain to me why all of these air force pukes straight up followed the propaganda and jumped to red note app, but man... @amlove21 y'all need to tight up over there, it was bad enough that you guys player 36 holes 4 days/week but now you're putting plane cabins and flying in the air into a Chinese super tracking phone app?

Ain't just the Air Force, sadly.
TikToc needs to go away.
