The China Thread (Threat)

Latest on the China Carney deal.

Among other things, the agreements Carney entered into in Beijing will formalize the Canadian operations of two key divisions within the Central Propaganda Department of the Chinese Communist Party’s central committee. The arrangements elevate the Canadian opportunities for the senior party ideologist Shen Haixiong, a prominent Propaganda Department deputy minister, and also for another Propaganda Department deputy, Sen Yeli, Bejing’s Minister of Culture and Tourism.
To China experts and Chinese diaspora leaders, the most alarming agreement Carney concluded in Beijing was the restoration of the relationship between the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and China’s dreaded Ministry of Public Security (MPS). . .a cover for Beijing to target ‘political criminals,’ often relying on coerced interrogations and blackmail.
Shining A Light Inside China's Trojan Horses

“It is very, very upsetting to me and to our organization,” Leung said. “This is all about expanding the Communist party’s influence and expanding their capabilities in Canada, in all those agreements, for transnational repression, political interference and disinformation.”

The proposed collaborations can be made to seem quite benign. They’re all about “people-to-people ties and cultural exchanges,” investment in museums, support for “digital content creators” and “visual artists,” heritage, education, “travel exchanges and cultural ties” and cooperation in the “creative industries” deep down into the “sub-national” level. But these are precisely the methods Beijing employs to extend the global reach of its “soft-power” operations in targeted countries.
Terry Glavin: Carney-China deal full of Trojan Horses on police and propaganda

This is all sorts of stuff going on in Canada but they all seem to be connected to China.

I lay out my view that Carney is rewarding key business backers with deep commercial ties to Chinese Communist Party–linked entities, in ways I compare to the Lord Peter Mandelson playbook: elite influence, insider networks embedded with investors aligned with Chinese intelligence interests, and a political strategy designed to look pragmatic and beneficial to all Canadians in the “new world order,” as Carney calls it, while primarily benefiting party backers behind the scenes.

why are so many world leaders willing to sell their nation off to China as little more than unwitting concubines ?

But Hong Kong diaspora groups say formal cooperation with China’s Ministry of Public Security is not a neutral technical partnership. For communities that fled repression, it can only mean deeper engagement with an internal security apparatus that has provably been exported into Western nations and is now associated—through lived experience—with “surveillance, harassment, intimidation, and pressure” directed at Hong Kongers overseas and their families.

Books like Animal Farm, 1984, and Brave New World were produced as works of dystopian fiction - why are so many pricks willing to betray their countrymen and use these works like a mother fucking social checklist?

I haven't hated the Liberal's enough lately.

In the wake of a groundbreaking Jamestown Foundation study mapping 2,294 CCP-linked organizations across four Western democracies — and finding that Canada, with 575 such groups, has nearly five times the per-capita penetration rate of the United States — experts including a former Chinese spy who defected to Australia are warning that Canada has become Beijing’s prototype for the kind of subversion that, in CCP doctrine, precedes kinetic warfare.

Experts Warn Canada Is China's "Prototype" for Democratic Infiltration

It's like - world leaders don't read history books and stuff.

Travel with me on a journey back into the dark depths of a fever induced Box nightmare, as I break it down for everyone:

Once upon a time, in the modern age of global power struggles, there was a great and prosperous land known as "The West"

"The West" was strong, its people free, and its values rooted in freedom and liberty.
Alas...
...far across the seas, a cunning empire called China sought to undermine this strength, not with armies or weapons, but with deception, influence, and control. And in this grand scheme, China found an unlikely accomplice: the polite, outwardly friendly, and seemingly harmless nation of Canada.

The West, ever eager to embrace trade and diplomacy, was presented with a grand gift: a Trojan Horse disguised as a Giant Dish of Poutine, Wrapped in a Golden Maple Leaf. This gift was a symbol of cooperation, economic growth, and cultural exchange...
...or so it seemed.

It was crafted with the finest materials, adorned with the flags of China and Canada, and delivered with a smile and a handshake. The leaders of The West, blinded by promises of prosperity, and a misguided desire to embrace "diversity" welcomed this Trojan Horse into their lands.
But this was no ordinary gift. Hidden within the Trojan Horse was a sinister alliance between China and Canada, designed to infiltrate and weaken the very foundations of Western society.

Inside the Trojan Horse, China had concealed its tools of influence: propaganda networks, covert police operations, and economic leverage. These tools were designed to erode The West’s sullied values, sow division, and tighten China’s grip on global power. But China was not alone in this endeavor. Canada, under the guise of politeness and diplomacy, played its part in delivering the dragon right to the gates of The West.

China’s state-run media and cultural programs, disguised as “friendship initiatives,” began spreading narratives that glorified the Chinese Communist Party while undermining Western ideals. Canada, ever eager to appease its new trading partner, turned a blind eye and even facilitated these efforts, allowing Confucius Institutes and other Trojan Horse programs to flourish. Also hidden within the dragon were China’s secret police, operating on foreign soil to intimidate and silence dissidents. Reports of Chinese police stations in Western cities began to surface, but Canada, instead of standing firm, allowed these operations to continue unchecked, prioritizing trade deals over human rights. The Trojan Horse also carried promises of economic growth through trade and investment. But these promises came with strings attached.
...strings that allowed China to control critical industries, steal intellectual property, and gain leverage over Western economies. Canada, eager to benefit from these deals, became a willing participant, ignoring the long-term consequences.

The West, lulled into complacency by promises, failed to see the alliance between China and Canada for what it truly was: a calculated effort to dismantle the pillars of democracy and freedom. While China wielded its power with brute force and cunning, Canada played the role of the enabler, using its reputation as a friendly and trustworthy nation to mask their true intentions. As revealed by whistleblowers and patriots, Canada’s leaders had struck countless deals with China that were riddled with Trojan Horses. Agreements that allowed China to expand its influence, embedding its propaganda and police networks under the guise of cultural and economic cooperation. Canada’s complicity in these schemes was a terrible betrayal of its Western allies. By allowing China to operate unchecked within its borders, Canada became a gateway for for the evil Chinese Communists infiltrate all of western civilization.

The truth could not stay hidden forever. As whistleblowers and patriots slowly began to expose the secrets of the Trojan Horse, revealing the extent of China and Canada’s treachery. The West, once blind to the threat, began to wake up. Protests erupted, alliances were questioned, and the facade began to crumble.

Ordinary citizens began to notice...
...this poutine is shit !!!
...these aren't cheese curds, it's just Tibetan Yak Cheese

...and these "french fries" are just stir fried shredded potatoes
...and this mother fucking gravy is thin as fuck and tastes like soy sauce and regret !!!

THIS ISN'T POUTINE AT ALL !!!
WE'VE BEEN TRICKED !!!
WHAT.IN.THE.ACTUAL.FUCK. is going on here ????

But the damage had already been done. The Trojan Horse - disguised as a Giant Dish of Poutine, and wrapped in a Golden Maple Leaf - had sown division, eroded trust, and weakened the West’s resolve. The alliance between China and Canada had succeeded in its mission to destabilize the very foundations of Western society.

QUESTION: What's the moral of the story?

ANSWER: Beware of devils bearing gifts - even if it DOES look like a giant dish of poutine wrapped in golden maple leaves.................

Oil in China just hit $60/barrel. Watch how high it goes.

Now, if I was a 6d underwater chess guy, I would connect the Venezuela op and securing better oil deals, Greenland (and shipping routes) and the Iran action as all driving towards one unifying goal; denying China 15-20% of their crude oil (gotten at a discount) imports and hastening a crumbling regime without a shooting war and crippling them militarily, trade wise, and on their home front.

... nah
