The Jeffrey Epstein Scandal

Clay Higgins possibly, I haven't fact checked it though.
No, that no vote was on releasing the files.
Dem Rep from the VI was taking directions from Epstein during the impeachment hearings.
Republicans floated a censure measure and there were 5 who voted present and two who voted with the Democrats.
Those are the names I want.

Looks like a deal was likely cut so that Dems wouldn't move forward with a censure of Mills in Flordia.

Enraged House Republicans allege ‘disgusting’ backroom deal to spare Dem Stacey Plaskett, GOPer Cory Mills from censure

Our entire government and both parties disgust me. I only vote R while holding my nose because to vote for D is the worst of them. And for the record, when I say D's are the worst I am specifically mentioning the post actual Liberals that were purged from the party by socialists and fanatical commies. These ain't Liberals or Democrats, just in name only.

This why I sometimes doubt election integrity. I do not believe some of these people actually won a reelection.

MTG deserves some credit for getting the Epstein files released, and for holding the Trump administration' feet the fire. They all promised to release everything, didn’t, and MTG hasn't allowed them to sweep it under the rug. I don't consider that turning on Trump.
Some people actually vote on campaign promises premise alone. The difference between the Left and the Right on this issue? Polar opposites: A means to end with TDS for the Left and no real interest from the Right because they knew that nothing would happen to Clinton based on past letdowns on justice with arrests and prison after court convictions for the Left. The Left thought that not releasing it was a way to remove Trump, they never cared for the actual list under Biden. The Right didn't care for the List either, otherwise they also would have made a stink about it when Biden had it and as said previously, Biden would have protected them.

Let's say the files are released but lack the Trumps and Clintons and whatnot of the world. I firmly believe Epstein was affiliated with Mossad and they will protect their assets. (which would also be a tell if we claim those files to be a national security issue...).

Anyway, files drop, no big, big names stand out, so we have a bunch of throwaway Treasury Secretaries from 20-30 years ago, a disgraced royal, whatever. Cool. Put on your "intel" hat and do some critical thinking. Take all of those lower level players and look for patterns, look for clusters. "Game recognizes game", you think a Clinton or Trump or Bezos or Hanks will surround themselves with the squeaky clean? Or will they surround themselves with like-minded and like-acting individuals?

Release the unredacted files, let sunlight shine upon the clusters of Microsoft execs or Blackrock money managers or "Deputy Director of..." under certain presidents. The studio execs, the B and C list actors, immediate family members, fraternities, AI developers or financial backers, etc. patterns exist. This isn't rocket surgery.

The issue here for me is that Trump is disregarding his MAGA supporters who are simply asking his administration to do what they promised to do. MTG, Rand Paul, Alex Jones, etc. This was a major campaign promise and its not looking good for Trump. He keeps saying there's nothing there, well then, release all the shit like you promised to do.

But hey, egg prices are down so...

To add, Trump claims that all the focus on the Epstein files is taking away from all the positive things his administration is doing. We'll, if your not hiding anything, it wouldn't be a distraction, it would be another "promise made, promise kept."

I've repeatedly stated this is low hanging fruit. This is a non event if you have nothing to hide. Your base demands this, you campaigned on this, but you stall, obfuscate, and run what is effectively PSYOPs against the release?

And people still think there's not a story here?

There's a story here. This is a topic to explore.

There's not much to say about this whole situation other than if the politicians continue to hide the truth about sexual predators and perpetrators of human smuggling, children at that, then it says a lot about what we stand for as a society and as a country.
Yes, but the people representing us are not fully representing us. "We the people" are stuck with a perpetually corrupt hiarchy.

They may not represent the values and principles of those on this board, but they did win through a majority vote.
