Over the past few days, it's unsurprisingly become evident to me that, while I'm quite disappointed with Bondi and the Trump administration's approach to release of the Epstein files, Congress and the media play an equal, and potentially greater, role in fumbling this issue. They're all culpable and it makes me wonder how we could ever move the needle in the right direction with so much obfuscation at so many levels.
Some of the loudest in Congress screaming about the Epstein files, by a vote of 357-65, agreed to block the release of congressional sexual misconduct and harassment reports.
And then there's this:
Did you hear anything about this in the news the past couple days? Probably not.
Which begs the question, are our officials in Washington and elsewhere really interested in solving this problem...or are they just giving lip service?
It's seems that perhaps this is the real Epstein island:
