...I enjoyed watching the Yankees get their asses handed to them in the World Series.
Truth be - told , I was sort of hoping the east coast would beat the left coast in this years fall classic.
Iām with you on thatā¦ but my hatred for the Evil Empire made me a temporary Dodger fan. As a lifetime Braves fan at least I got to see Freddie demoralize New York City.
Freddie raked the Yankees. I despise the Yankees and don't like the Dodgers either, but Freeman is a favorite of mine. I hope he returns to the Braves where he belongs.
He needs to go back to 1st base in Hotlanta.
Damn I go back to the Joe Torre days.
Don't forget the crime dog, Fred McGriff.Murphy, Horner, Rafael Ramirez...They used to lose a lot back in those days but I still loved them. Then came Glavine, Smoltz and Maddux and the World Series.
I champion greatness. I respect sports dynasties. I pulled for the Chicago Bulls, rooted for the Yankees in the Jeeter days, and cheered for Tom Brady louder than anyone in Minnesota. But I despise the Eagles and their douchbaggery fandom almost as much as I loathe Patrick Mahomes and the Kelsey/Swift side show. With no rooting interest in this game, I may literally skip it this year and watch a movie.
To add: I won't go so far as to say that the NFL is rigged/fixed, but I will say that there is indisputable video evidence , especially this season, that certain teams (talking to you KC Chiefs) have gotten ridiculous calls that absolutely influenced the game. When you have literal legends like Troy Aikman and Tom Brady calling out the NFL, you have a problem. I have a quarter that this will be the lowest rated Super Bowl in decades.
Who America is rooting forā¦
