The NFL, Kneeling, Ratings, and the Flag

My only forays to Raymond James stadium every year when the boys were growing up was for this. Enjoy:

I go to a Reds v. Braves game every year. One reason is because I'm a fan of both teams. A lot of Braves fans make the trip straight up 75 and are always cool when they come up to to Cincinnati.

@Topkick , was the game you attended in Cincinnati or in Pittsburgh? If Pittsburgh was it at Three Rivers or Heinz field? Just curious. Signed, a nebby Yinzer.

I've been to one NFL game, Bengals v. Steelers. It was a shitshow that I would never take a kid along to. I did not enjoy the drunk fans fighting, cursing each other out, and generally being complete shitbags. Never went to another. I'd rather go to MLB games, kick back and relax and usually meet cool fans from the other team.

Depends on the seats. I've been to Charlotte (Carolina), Atlanta, New Orleans, DC and Maryland (Redskins). The cheap seats up high get in the most trouble. Those psl and season ticket holders are wine and cheese folks.

Aside from the stupid concession prices we've enjoyed the games we've been to.

Yeah, unbelievable. It was like $16 for a 12 ounce beer at the reds games last year. $12 for a slice of pizza. Lol. But at least you could get a ticket in the cheap seats for $14 and they are still a decent view.
I’ve only been to a small handful of games but a co worker with season tickets tells me outside food is allowed in which is - pardon the pun - a game changer (at least regarding food).

I’m not a huge sports guy but it is pretty cool that you can see both minor league (Dayton Dragons) and major league (Reds) within an hour of each other without getting bent over on ticket prices. And both have good stadiums.
