Heh, glad to see units like this getting some visibility.

Edit: after reading my post, it seemed flippant. I meant to highlight how many NG units perform real world missions that people just don't know about.

When I was in the ANG it was doing nearly 50% of the AF flight workload. And that was a few years before the Gulf War.
 
Honestly Regiment could write a couple books on saving SEALs. I mean they wrote the books but usually leave us out... like they leave CCTs out of their helos.
There was a book by a recently separated ranger who was part of the Luttrell rescue
