Everyone of my sister's kids were at some point, a vegan like their mother. That all stopped when I asked how could they be vegan at the dinner table when they were all using smartphones that used cow byproducts, like the screens that they touch and put next to their ears and faces.

You should have seen the looks of horror from my sister's face on down. Shortly thereafter they all decided to be vegetarians instead. Imagine that.

J6 was an entrapment LARP. Real people were hurt and one was killed during the J6 event. You can’t prove a counterfactual, but I’ll phrase it as a rhetorical thought experiment.

We know the FBI had hundreds of plainclothes agents at J6. We don’t know their individual actions, but let’s assume that one (1) agent opened a door, yelled “Let’s go in!”, or agitated Americans to breach the Capitol. Without the presence of hundreds of ideologically captured FBI agents (whistleblowers words paraphrased not mine), does J6 happen?

For instance, let's say, oh, I don't know, something like this happened, and it turns out, that dude was a glowie. Or maybe a couple of those folks dressed head to toe in 5.11 gear with earpieces opening doors and ushering people in.

FBI fires agents photographed kneeling during 2020 racial justice protest, AP sources say
WASHINGTON (AP) — The FBI has fired agents who were photographed kneeling during a racial justice protest in Washington that followed the 2020 death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers, three people familiar with the matter said Friday.

The bureau last spring had reassigned the agents but has since fired them, said the people, who insisted on anonymity to discuss personnel matters with The Associated Press.

The number of FBI employees terminated was not immediately clear, but two people said it was roughly 20.


The photographs at issue showed a group of agents taking a knee in apparent solidarity during one of the demonstrations following the May 2020 killing of Floyd, a death that led to a national reckoning over policing and racial injustice and sparked widespread anger after millions of people saw video of the arrest.

My reaction when first hearing about the governor's actions was, "Uh, Supremacy Clause, anyone?" I just don't see how we could think state law supersedes federal law.

I also think it's highly ironic given that California regularly flouts federal law in things like immigration (sanctuary cities).

As soon as I read the text about a state bill telling Federal agents how to do their jobs I knew it was virtue signaling by Newsom. The tragedy here is the state did something it had to, HAD TO know was illegal and did it anyway. There is no way that bill's legal status wasn't brought up before the vote. For CA to draft, nominate, vote, pass, and sign an illegal bill into law shows a level of stupidity impressive by modern standards. They had to know this was illegal and did it anyway.

If Republicans don't trot this out and make that point every single day then they are missing a golden opportunity and show how badly they are being led, if led at all.
