Whattaboutism generally is tiresome, I totally agree. I think whattaboutism is also used as some magic shield.

Our census polling has been broken, and it's been documented. Illegal immigration is a money-maker in many ways for the democrats, this just being one of them. Just like voting and voting registration, dead people get counted, I have seen pregnant women get counted twice (one for the woman, one for the baby), etc.
 
I think it's important for certain members to show acknowledgement of the reality. Everything they said Trump would do in his first term, he didn't do. Biden you betcha did. He continued the weaponization of the DOJ. The DOJ was actively going after concerned parents because they stood up at School board meetings and said that boys in girls bathrooms was wrong. All the things they said Trump would do this term has already been done by the Biden administration...and so far, there hasn't been a tit for tat, partially because President auto-pen pardoned a bunch of people.

When you watch CNN, which is gonna give me a brain aneurism, I'm watching Shermichael Singleton and Scott Jennings point out to the Liberals that this has already happened and they ask them why they didn't stand up then. Because it hasn't been about what is right. It has been about what your ideology is.

Like, a not so significant minority of the Democrats are for terrorism, openly. Their party leadership doesn't disassociate with these people and even attempt to guide their electorate back to the center. We are going to have nationwide pro terrorist protests because the Democrats willfully aligned with terrorist sympathizers in the name of votes. To the point where it has poisoned their entire party. There is no coming back really.

ETA: We can call it whataboutism, but I don't think so. Because look, plain as day, the Biden DOJ (and Obama DOJ) did everything they said Trump was gonna do.

For me it's an easy choice. I don't believe anybody's home was illegally entered without a warrant. I think it's just a news story with BS "witnesses". In the article posted the main witness stated he heard agent trying to break his door down but went back to sleep. Why did they not break it and drag him out of bed if that's what happened? And who goes back to sleep with people trying to hammer your door down, 2 locks or not?

A targeted enforcement action with the FBI and local LE? We've heard of SWAT busting down the wrong door with a warrant, but never without one.

I saw that photo and coming on the heels of the fat generals speech, the photo makes a lot of people and institutions look ridiculous right now. All of the soldiers in the TXARNG and it mobilized a truckload+ of the morbidly obese. Strong work.

Everything is bigger in Texas, including the double chins.

I think this is probably the best indicator of the SECDEF's speech being spot on. He wasn't making commentary on fat generals, but the whole force.

I remember being told how the APFT wasn't a good test of "fitness". And that the tape test wasn't a good test of bodyfat.

Mind you, I was always taped. I saw NCO's fudge my numbers the other way to make it look like I was close. I saw my fat senior scout get given two weeks and miraculously he passed because the other NCO synched it...but here's the thing, he got helped out at his next command too somehow, because they liked him.

Some guys struggle to lose weight. I tried to use every resource the Army gave me. Most of these guys don't. Like did y'all see Milley? Do you think the rank and file thinks they need to care about fitness? Do you know how many CSMs and 1SGs aren't exactly moderately fit? But we have to tell our soldiers to get fit?
