The Trump Presidency 2.0

When POTUS lies about things that are easy to see, with our eyes, it just further enhances half the countries fears that an absolute megalomaniac liar is running the country. If he would be blatantly dishonest, and corrupt a medical doctor for his vanity, what else would he easily and clearly lie about?

I'll give Trump this; a ton of Americans are obese but are also unaware of it, so it's somewhat relatable on his end.

At least he didn't pretend to be one of the top ranked video game players in the world and Livestream himself being repeatedly killed by the tutorial boss before claiming "bad connection" and quitting.

I can’t decide if I should give you a 😂 for great sarcasm, or a 🙄 because you actually believe that statement.

There is an innumerable number of articles that discuss his golf game. Why are people being obtuse about it?

So Harvard is big mad about their loss of Federal funding, but I'm reading that it has nothing to do with why they're complaining? Sounds like a W.

Then NVidia is moving more manufacturing to the US? Right here in AZ? Awesome.

Harvard is a private school with a $53B endowment. They'll be fine and really never should've received federal dollars in the first place.
100%. I was listening to a podcast and they stated Harvard could offer free tuition and the interest on the endowment alone would cover.

The administration's response should simply be, "we are delighted that Harvard has such a large endowment and is self-sustainable, as they should be; therefore, they'll not miss a penny of federal funding, and we're sure they will do great."

Of course, on NPR this morning a Harvard spokechick said it was unfair that the feds were threatening to withhold federal money and that everyone benefitted from their influx of federal money.

Like I said, Harvard is a private school. They can collect as big as pile of money as they want and I don't necessarily care because I don't attend school there or have any affiliation. However, they should really receive attention from the media.

Why does a university, especially one charging the tuition they do, need an endowment of that size?

As @GOTWA noted above, the interest alone could cover tuition for every student. So, what are they doing with all the money?

Is that really acceptable for a university?

Acceptable for a private university? Maybe, maybe not. Being financially healthy shouldn't be viewed in a bad light, though. They're certainly a pay to play kind of school that shouldn't be financed with my tax dollars. Give that federal money to the community colleges. The administration is missing a prime opportunity to blast that endowment all over social media and the news. Take advantage of those sound bites.
