The Trump Presidency 2.0

Egg prices aren't down, at least where I'm at. USDA forced the killing of millions of birds nationwide even in areas not under threat. Also, you want to buy organic chicken eggs? You mean that actually want sick chickens but I digress. Weirdly enough, I am one degree of separation from the largest egg farmer in the state due to my wife's work. They actually were impacted by this outbreak of bird flu, they had to cull 1 million birds.

To give you an idea on what it takes to supply the American market with eggs. In the commercial system you essentially need one egg laying hen per person. Consider that we have a bunch of non-egg eating vegans in our population so you reduce that a bit. But the number of commercial egg laying hens across the various categories (caged, cage free, free range, free range grass fed, organic yada yada) is 330-350 millions. In the commercial system we have around 280 million egg laying hens. So...we're gonna have egg prices for a HOT minute.

I'll tell you what, my whole worldview on food changed when I started buying grass fed, grass finished beef from the local farms. It's not only cheaper, it's just more healthy. I try to buy free range eggs whenever I can. My next half share comes in July and I can't fucking wait.

GASP! *Greta Thunberg voice* How DARE you!?

You're not allowed to say the last admin did anything to affect today's reality, unless of course Orange Man Bad, and then you're allowed to say that he's singlehandedly ruining the country and that has nothing to do with global market and 2nd/3rd order effects spanning 4 years of modern monetary theory driven policies and printing more money than has ever existed in the history of the world.

Egg prices down. Gas prices down. Interest rates down. Every tarrif we have threatened has gained a very real output with who we have threatened. Companies like Apple are lining up to invest half a TRILLION dollars in American jobs. Stargate- another $500B investment. Superconductor $100B investment. We are cutting waste, fraud, and abuse. Honda building their new plants stateside.

The market is volatile, just like it always has been, and everyone will be fine. Or, you won't be fine, because that's the risk we all assume when we invest into the market.

Unless, of course, this is just another MSM talking point and market instability is only an issue when "your guy" isn't in charge....
You left out how Trump is giving everyone an excuse to do the things they knew in their hearts they should have been doing all along, like rooting out DEI and stamping out BLM.

City crews have begun removing the 'Black Lives Matter' street mural in D.C.

lol

Everyone's woke gangster until it's time to get called on your woke gangster shit

I haven't seen the $2 break locally, as listed in the article, but mine are definitely cheaper by about $1.

Bro, I started buying my meet in 1/8-1/4 cow bulk orders and never looked back. I can verify the source, know what it was fed, and it's way cheaper. Good on you.

Also, as soon as my boy gets his nationwide shipping cleared, I have a great veteran owned and operated company for you all.

I watched a Rogan recently, can't remember who his guest was, but she said she has a few chickens and her and all her neighbors never pay anything for eggs. Lol.
Our S&C Coach in the PNW had a whole cottage industry going. The whole squadron was buying that mans eggs and they were delicious.

I can drive within 10 minutes in any direction and there's a sign at the end of at least 10 driveways offering free range butt nuggets. I still buy mine by the flat of XL butt nuggets for under $10. There's also a major poultry facility 20 minutes away.

I buy all my meat from 2 different family operations, both run by long time friends.

I live in an upper level condo and my county doesn't allow for roof top grills, so I don't grill. It sucks. But I'm a huge advocate of the bulk beef buys and it disappoints me more people don't do it. Yes, your ground beef is a bit more expensive, but the offset on the other cuts is tremendous. I have some ground beef that eats like butter and I don't even need to strain it after cooking.

I've nearly stopped eating out since buying my first share. I'm down from 205 to 188 and I can fast all day until dinner, with no hunger, great sleep, and fairly decent energy. I'll pick up on the meals as I start to workout more. Support your local farmer.

I'll eat breakfast on the weekends, but I no longer subscribe to the whole 3 square meals a day thing. That's a western concept and America is fat because of it. A lb of 95/5 ground beef at 650 calories? Sign me up.
