The Trump Presidency 2.0

Day 2 of the government shut down. My suburban streets are littered with children and the elderly. The newly formed "Sanitation Department", a federal agency with arrest powers, had to buy more trucks for the carnage.

Without PBS and NPR during this emergency, I've been lost. I have no reserve supplies... I fear this is the end.

I even asked to get furloughed and got told no...
...the sky is falling

The site I support had most of the civilians furloughed but the contractors remained. Cool except their work has to be signed off by the government folks who are at home. In about a week or two the contractors are going to sit there with nothing to do, but still drawing a paycheck.

Div Chief: You're late on your training.
Contractor: I'm waiting for a government shutdown so I have something to do.

nice and peaceful at work today and was able to get so much accomplished without all the meetings. Glad I'm not dependent on middle-management to do things
