Which in this case they clearly didn't do, just like the rest. If we are going to play these semantic games, the president let everyone know what the penalty is for sedition. He got the penalty wrong (max 20 years, not death); he wasn't the one who said "hang them". So, unfortunately, thanks to your own logic here, he's clean.

Also, the crime that was committed wasn't sedition or seditious conspiracy. Since there was no illegality defined, and given my earlier contention that "everything he does is illegal", I would say the folks in question violate-

I am sure he is just being hyperbolic, or reminding service members about accountability (happens all the time) and not leveling a direct threat to intimidate those who would engage lawfully where a crime may have been committed. Funny...what's being lost in all of the discussion is how troops are taught in the first week of training, "still shitting civilian chow" early in training, about a duty to disobey illegal orders. Nuremberg, My Lai, "just following orders" isn't a defense (though sadly used all too often), et. al. are cited in training.

Obeying the Constitution isn't just cool or safe, it is in the oath you take when enlisting or commissioning.

Thanksgiving weekend—a time for family, food, and the delightful spectacle of political theater. It's been a neat year - and I am Thankful for it - but it seems like politicians and celebrities - the most well to do and spoiled fucking rotten of ALL aMEricans - still don't get it.
Damn if it doesn't make for a GREAT holiday season though. I'm gonna break it down the best way I know how...

Let's kick this off with the annual "Presidential Pardon" of the Thanksgiving Turkey.
This year, it was done of sound mind and body.
Last year's turkey should have been fed to the poor - since last years pardon was probably auto penned.
...but right after giving the turkey a pardon, PRESIDENT Trump decided that without a turkey, he would need to "roast" his political detractors.
...and what a fine roasting it was

Thankfully - congressional gridlock ended in time for government employees to be able to pay for their thanksgiving feast without maxing out their credit card to pay for groceries. Pfft - I always say, "the opposite of PROgress in CONgress"
Moving on...

Then endless social media rants from our "adult-in-the-room" politicians and celebrities as they stoke sedition and hatred with posts to remind us of how much they hate each other - while posting NOTHING to comfort us with thoughts that they are looking out for the best interests of hard working, tax paying, American Citizens. Leading the charge of course was a retired Naval Officer that decided to get into polyticks. I'm loving how he felt it to be his duty to encourage uniformed officers to refuse orders that they deemed "unlawful"
