Cool - snatching 10 grand a year from a US Senators military pension is a pretty symbolic step towards showing that there are "consequences" - but when he is already one of one of Congress's wealthiest members because of the millions of dollars that he banks for paid speeches and aerospace consulting fees, does it really change anything?
Especially when he is really only "guilty" of being an asshole.

Secretary Hegseth is correct; Americans expect justice.
Let's just officially label him "an asshole" and go imprison a few PDF files, or a few corrupt government employees that have embezzled BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars.

Well, Epstein files were released, many of them by the House Democrats of course in response to the FBI release...and the only things that I would find "bad" would be how much he was fundraising for Democrats. Bongino departing? Was I supposed to care about him joining the FBI? Was he better than Kash Patel who's been okayish?

Sometimes we doth expect too much!

Maybe it's just the cynic in me.

I expect his NCOERs are just like everyone else's (and OERs too for that matter): grossly over-inflated fellating, because anything less is going to "ruin his career."

So what's Walz's play here? He's not going to give up power just like that. I think he could have survived the Somali immigrant scam. To me, there's either something else that's going to blow up that does make him unelectable, the Somali scam touches him directly, or there's some weird shuffle thing here where Klobuchar takes over as governor, and then she turns around and appoints Walz to her vacant Senate spot (if that's something that's even possible, IDK).

The bolded part is the current speculation. It's a swap.

Here's the scenario:

Amy Klobucher is currently one of Minnesota's senators and her seat is not up for re-election until 2030.

Amy throws her hat in the ring for the governor's seat at no risk.

If she wins, she becomes governor and, as such, makes the appointment of her vacated senator seat; there is no special election. This is what happened when Al Franken resigned his seat in disgrace; governor appointed an even more radical liberal to the seat in Tina Smith.

Amy appoints Walz to serve out her term.

If Amy loses the election (sadly, unlikely given MN's liberal politics), she simply retains her senator seat.

It's disgusting, but we may not be done with this loser quite yet. In the meantime, he's in full meltdown:
