The Trump Presidency 2.0

On this friend, we disagree.
I don't think he wants a war like anything in recent memory. For one, he has the balls to use every asset available to overwhelm and destroy the enemy. Not send them hugs and kisses. The second, the Iranian population isn't Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia and so on. Sure they are run by Islamic terrorists, who are directly responsible for spreading it around the world. BUT the majority of the population are not Islamists, love America and the most important part; want the bombs to drop. Not just want, they were begging in the streets; while being shot in the head by snipers brought in from Iraq.

During the closed-door meeting, the senior government official confirmed earlier reports about the use of foreign forces in suppressing the protests, saying the Revolutionary Guards, its Basij militia, as well as Quds Force-linked units trained in Chechnya, Iraq, Pakistan, and Sudan were involved.

Iran International reported earlier this month that Iranian-backed Iraqi militias had begun recruiting and deploying fighters to assist Iranian forces in cracking down on protests.

That report said hundreds of Shiite militiamen from groups including Kataib Hezbollah, Harakat al-Nujaba, Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada and the Badr Organization had been sent into Iran through multiple border crossings.

The fighters were transferred under the guise of pilgrimage trips and gathered at a base in Ahvaz before being dispatched to various regions, Iran International reported.

Forces given ‘blank check’ to kill protesters in Iran, senior official says

You wanna' be the world's policeman, you have to write littering tickets in the country club and chase murderers through the projects. You're in parades, in schools, walking a beat, and sitting partnerless on a street in the 'hood. You have to respond to a DV in the trailer park, stumble across a meth lab which can go up at any moment, catch wildlife in a retention pond, conduct wellness checks, and tape off a crime scene with 5 dead babies drowned by their mom in a bathtub.

I don't think the US ever grasped the significance of being the world's policeman. We decided to pick and choose, often with disastrous results. We behaved more like a mafia don in his neighborhood than a policeman.

I think we're OK with the role, we're just tired of the free riding and the shit talking about the way we do it.

Being the world's policemen helps us set up systems and practices that benefit us. But too many people have gotten too comfortable too long, with too little appreciation. To paraphrase that world-renowned international relations scholar Kendrick Lamar,

"Sometimes you've gotta pop out and show 'em."

+5 for the K. DOT ref... one note, he's ubiquitous enough that you don't need to say who said it, let em google.

For Iran- the only reason I am even sort of inching closer to being ok with this is because of the DoW actions in Iran 1 and Venezuela.

Targeted glassing and schwacking of high level government folks, no boots on the ground, weapons our adversaries don't have, executed perfectly?

If that's how this goes, let the boys off the leash and bring everyone back home. Clarified intent, guidance, execution, endstate, straight into Phave 5 ops.

Oh and also no need to include any allies. Not for planning not for "joint ops". We don't need anyone else. Keep the messaging clean.

Remember when we talked about economics and stuff? Good times. Anyway, Trump was right about tariffs; the Supreme Court ruled in a 6-3 decision that a 1977 IEEPA statute (the underpinning for the tariffs) can't be used. Nixon used the same wording and the same statutes and was upheld.

As always, Clarence Thomas cooks in his dissent, Trump invokes more tariffs globally, and now that the SC just clarified a very small portion of the statutes and his constitutionally vetted powers, Trump will just use other statutes.

Uniparty AF. Its a club and you ain't in it.
Not my point at all. My point was that Soros lost a shit ton of money trying to short the market just because Trump became president. So we have individuals and hedge funds out there distorting the market to fuck with us. On a serious point he should be in prison for that.

I realize it wasn't your point and I didn't mean it to be personal toward you. I have used this quote by George Carlin here a few times and it was a great example of what it means. Trump's boy used to work for Soros.

Far right Christian nationalist shouting "U BETRAYED ME I LOVED YOU DONALD!!!" - MSNBC initial headline.

***2 hours later***

Shotgun and gas wielding angryperson with ties to Antifa shot dead. No motive found we consider this matter closed... next up, how the far right is committing violonce more than the left! Also, Trump is ultra meccha Hitler.

Political affiliation PRE-EVENT simply doesn't matter when it comes to scandalous behavior like this. What really matters is a persons "Ideology Pronouns" as reported by the media POST incident.

Only those identifying as "right wing white male conservatives" commit random acts of violence...
...I'm starting to wonder if some of your folks even own a TV

C'mon man
