It could be. Why it's not, and why it's not diversified to multiple vendors and plants is far beyond my mental calibrations.

Correct, but from what I understand it takes like a war powers act or defense production thing to extend those dates.

Nah, they use the shelf life extension program. HHS quarantines the stock of any drug expired and tests 10% of it. If it passes, out of quarantine it goes and back on the warehouse shelf. That’s speaking specifically to the SNS or whatever it’s called now.
