Not Work Safe .

@Muppet my daughter's girlfriend (she's Jewish) and I traded Holocaust jokes tonight. She bested me and it was surreal regardless of the outcome.
Some people "get it" and some people get butthurt.
I grew up in redneck northern Minnesota, the holocaust jokes we told each other as kids were nothing short of horrific (None of us are Jews, hell I don’t even know if there are any Jews up in that part of the state to this day).

I still remember a few of them and shudder at the shit we used to say with zero understanding of what we were actually saying.

My grandfather, a Jew that landed on Omaha, made his way to Germany, involved with liberation of Buchenwald Concentration Camp, was the king of one liner Jewish jokes.

I watched an interview a few years ago with an old Jewish man who was in a concentration camp, but also made HI-lareous Jewish jokes. The interviewer asked something like, "doesn't that make you uncomfortable or a hypocrite?" The man's answer was "when we were in the camp, the only thing we could laugh at was ourselves."

My DNA is pretty vanilla but I do have small (single digit) percentage of sub-Saharan African DNA, which some people give me grief for (given that .80% of my DNA is Finnish, English, and other Scandinavian). I can joke about that,
