Great read. Thanks. I've read a lot about Canadians that have served across the border in many conflicts but I haven't seen the book cited in the article (Cross-Border Warriors: Canadians in American Forces and Americans in Canadian Forces). I'm going to have to get it now. ;)

I remember reading a book in, I believe the mid-80's that was banned in the U.S. It was 'supposedly' written by a guy who claimed to have been a POW in Vietnam and escaped. Cant recall the author or title. Anyway, it was really controversial, and I would like to read it again. Not a lot to go on, but if anyone remembers that book, please pass the info my way. Tried an internet search and cant find anything. Thanks!

I had a bud in VN who was a Canuck and a Marine.
How timely, I had a conversation not two days ago with a co-worker about Canadians crossing the border to serve. The young lad didn't believe me. Thanks for the link, metalmom. :)
