I am currently a 19 year old college dropout. I played high level hockey and hs lacrosse up until college. After months of consideration, I have decided to enlist. But i am at a crossroads. I always idolized becoming a paratrooper and joining the Army. But as research went along the AF and tacp caught my eye. I have spoke with a recruiter and meet the asvab scores for that role (TACP). Although my physical standards could be much better. I am 6'1" about 170 lbs. Regularly workout and run to keep in generally good shape. Was hoping i could receive some guidance or opinions on the matter.
Appreciate your time,
thank you

Could you provide us with a pointed question?

I'd highly recommend you use our search function. Most answers will be found there.

What do you want to do?
Hump a rifle, shoot people?
Hump a rifle, and a cool radio, shoot people then call an airstrike in on their ass?
Can you swim? MC and AF have interesting jobs requiring some swim skills.
Decide what you want to do first, then pick your path (service).

This is, IMO, the correct response. YMMV.
