Don't Thank Me, Thank Disney

You guys familiar with Postmodern Jukebox? They take modern songs and put a vintage twist on them. Here are a few of my favorites.

ENJOY!!!

Good stuff - I really dig the 30s-50s jazz styles. I've long thought that Say You'll Haunt me would sound good in that style (soft on the verse, hit it hard with a loud brass section in the chorus).

I've had a hard on for Natalie Portman since day one...this little ditty just made it a life time obsession!

My best friend in Jr High & HS (and we were in Sea Explorers together) is a jazz saxophonist named Steve Clarke. When he was struggling to teach himself how to play-- in a one-room apartment littered with cigarette butts and jazz albums--I was out of rehab and home on leave. He needed money for a new sax and I gave him $400 from my saved-up combat pay. I didn't need it.

Looks like my investment paid off.

He's the one in the hat. They kick it in about 1:52.

Sounds of Silence - acapella

I almost like this version better than the instrumental. The guy has an incredible voice.
