Field Wireman in ANGLICO

Hello I'm currently in 29 Palms doing the Basic Comms. Course before I pick up for my actual MOS course. During a guided discussion a student brought up ANGLICO in the Comms. section. I was wondering if a Field Wireman would just do his regular job in ANGLICO or would I be able to do some of the JTAC jobs that Radio Operators do.

I'm meant to say get the JTAC training that RTO'S get.

As a Field Wireman you will never be a JTAC. Regardless of what unit you go to.

RTOs are never on the net doing what you're referring to, nor are they doing the Forward Observer's Job.
