The banter was on fire in this episode. Eunuch jokes, dragons eating, even that creepy post-coital scene between Euron and Cersei. Speaking of fucking, Gendry's going to put a piece of steel in Lady Arya if they both survive. Bet.
One other thought: the longer the show goes on, the more condensed the main character deaths. With no one checking out this episode, when it does happen we'll have back-to-back-to-infinity killing.
Euron doesn't need The Deadliest Catch to teach him how to catch the crabs.

Gendry is interesting. He just kind of lurks under the surface. He's in plain sight, always around, but never the forefront. I have to believe there is more to him than just being a blacksmith...he's Baratheon's bastard.
After going back and watching the first episode (which I somehow never saw), I watched the next two follow on episodes. I was reminded just how much Baratheon hated Targaryens and wanted them wiped out; which is why Edard Stark hid the identity of Jon Snow. I was also reminded that Jon Arryn was murdered after visiting Gendry's blacksmith shop. Then Baratheon tried to wipe out all his bastards, which would've included Gendry.
Is there more here there than we know? Who really was Gendry's mom? As with Snow, was she also more than some tavern wench? Gendry's loyalty to his father was eluded to a few times in the past. Will this come into play?

That was fucking intense and reminded me of why I fucking hate that they're only hour long episodes.
