Console.

The controls start a little clunky but get easier to manage!
Playing this on XBOX now. A few thoughts on it...

1. I really like the concept - reminds me of a number of cool old FPS, like Ghost Recon, Rainbow 6, and SWAT, but it was clearly developed for PC and isn't ready for console.

2. Graphics are on par with early 2000's gaming

3. Text/commands are WAY too small...virtually illegible (again, clearly developed for PC)

4. Controls are clunky at first but are slowly getting better.

5. Movement is slow, painfully so at times.

6. Overall gameplay itself seems decent

7. I like the customization and load out of the character

I was pretty excited for this game, but not sure I'd recommend it for console at this point. It has a lot of potential, but just needs someone else to come and fix the things it needs to be a modern tactical FPS.

The graphics on mine are awesome! I’m surprised you said early 2000’s. The controls are hard. But once you get them the game flows ok. I’m obvious an SF guy not a cop, so it is hard for me to not just shoot bad guys.

Yeah, I think I'll be OK with the controls. The few things that came to mind are the fact you can't control your characters mobility, like speed (walk vs run), crouch, etc. Things like selecting a flashbang or making a command have a lot of steps/button presses associated to them. Seems that process could've been made simpler/streamlined?

I like the fact that there is an objective like detaining, but I also have an issue of not just dropping every bad guy I see. 😁

As for the graphics, maybe I'm not using the correct term -- there is a lot of detail. However, character movements are not at all fluid and/or sometimes non-existent. So, when compared to other modern games, it just looks early 2000's to me. I don't really play COD, Battlefield et al, but when I see how far those types of games have come with graphics and interactive/dustructible environments, that's kind of become my expectation.

You can only crouch or low ready. The difficulty in getting a flashbang vs a taser is crazy.

I didn't even know you could crouch.

To me the game has a lot of potential but probably needs resources of a larger company. There could be a sharpshooter mission, tac medic, etc. (maybe there is and I just haven't gotten to that point) and a seemingly endless number of scenarios, ex. protective detail, etc.

@AWP

Finally back into Destiny 2, doing the Edge of Fate DLC....pretty enjoyable...I missed it.

My PS4 finally crashed a bit ago...and doing the PC route now, which is soooo much better IMHO

Retrograde Mint is kind of the hot special weapon in the game, but I think you can only obtain it from running pinnacle activities. The solar SMG can roll with some really good perks. The exotic strand pulse is really good. Strand/ solar builds are really hot right now.

I think I'd enjoy EOF more if I was into the Nine lore. The matterspark mechanic is cool, but overused. Sure, I'll jump this ball and do stuff I guess. Oh, you may know, but some of the side quests will appear before you can work them.

Not my favorite, but better than Lightfall and Osiris.

Don't hate me, but still doing the Hunter class with Revenant subclass. Kinetic auto rifle "Giver's Blessing", energy weapon is "Graviton Lance" and power weapons rotate from "Ulterior Observation" machine gun, "Zephyr" Sword and my trusty "Code Duello" rocket launcher.

Agree...getting a bit tired of the matterspark. I got back on out of order...doing Edge of Fate before the finale shape.....

That's a solid build. I think it might be outclassed by a strand or solar build this season, but that could be because of the seasonal artifact. Voidlock was garbage until they reverted the changes to contraverse hold.

Rocket sidearms and the Mint (rocket pulse) are stupid good in pve. Strand (The Call, available through Beyond Light activities) and stasis (Tinasha's Mastery, obtained via Iron Banner) sidearms in those archetypes exist and both legendary so you could keep GL. A few wave frame and area grenade launchers are good, but for ammo economy nothing is beating a rocket using special ammo except the current exotic scout. Grav's ad clear is still unbeatable for a void primary, that weapon is slept on.

Bungie is making a lot of changes between now, and with, Renegades' release in December.

I play a fraction of what I used to and I still know all of this...ugh.
