Gaming thread

Cheating in a video game? I think the only surprise is how quickly the cheats were developed (unless there was a prior Alpha or Beta period).

The most recent raid race in Destiny 2 had something like 70% of the first day completions nullified and the players banned because of cheating, primarily net limiting.
 
Maybe we should get a party going this weekend.

I am watching a gametuber's recent upload and noticed that it's too easy to outrun your smokes. In 2042 we had to toss them at the grounds immediately in front of us for that to happen if that was the intent. Otherwise they went ahead and popped like they were supposed to. I wonder if they're using some physics here to add in some realism?

I think the physics are driven by the game engine (Frostbite) and Frostbite has had several major overhauls since BF2042.
