Cheating in a video game? I think the only surprise is how quickly the cheats were developed (unless there was a prior Alpha or Beta period).

The most recent raid race in Destiny 2 had something like 70% of the first day completions nullified and the players banned because of cheating, primarily net limiting.

Maybe we should get a party going this weekend.

I am watching a gametuber's recent upload and noticed that it's too easy to outrun your smokes. In 2042 we had to toss them at the grounds immediately in front of us for that to happen if that was the intent. Otherwise they went ahead and popped like they were supposed to. I wonder if they're using some physics here to add in some realism?

I think the physics are driven by the game engine (Frostbite) and Frostbite has had several major overhauls since BF2042.

I am pretty late to the train, but Ready or Not is one of the best 1st person shooters I have played in a long time. I have about an hour or two a week to play a game, and it has been really fun.

Are you playing it on PC or console?

I've been interested in checking it out but only have a console.

Diablo 4 had a new start yesterday. Blizz made a bunch of changes and the seasonal powers are pretty OP. As a result every class has multiple Pit 100+ builds, some are either new or returning from season's past. Leveling is faster as a result, so this is a pretty good season.

Destiny 2...FML. The new weapons and armor are good, but build crafting is kind of flat. Threadlings are OP, seasonal artifact buffs also make solar the go-to, and surprisingly Contraverse Hold just had a nerf removed so voidlocks are back on the table. The game's problem is the power grind. It is AIDS, like 1980's level of AIDS. You go to the doctor with a "cold" and by the end of the day "your hospital bed is visited by the Avengers and they brought you a PS5" level of AIDS. The seasonal activity is either fun or horrible depending on your worldview.

My PC is dogwater and won't run Borderlands 4, but I'll fix that in a few months. I'll take a look at Ready or Not.

Huh, guess I know what I will be doing later.

Start on hard difficulty. Start the seasonal quest so you have access to the rewards board. Run helltides and open chests. Clear the stronghold things on Normal once you hit level 50 then back to Hard for whatever's leftover until 60.

That's your fastest leveling method but gets kind of old at some point. I toss in dungeons for my aspects and chase tree of whisper bounties. Using this I'm already a 46.

I'm already a two hundred something something, heh.

Dafuq? Nicely done.
I never did another class or start over. I'm pretty much a tank right now as the barbarian. I go around reviving folk much higher than me in stats, levels, or way below me. I still need to do pit runs constantly until I am at 45 for every node. Right now it's 12 or 13 I think for each one.
