When my unit deployed last time a couple of the guys were injured and MEDVACed out of country. So this soldier got injured in OCT 2011, after a while was transfered to the WTU in Ft. Bliss in May 2012. His stuff was sent back while the unit was still downrange. We received his household goods in NOV 2012 and there it sat in our conference room, knowing full well that there was going to be a FLIPPL. Now that his med board is finalized and he will be out at the end of next week everyone and their mother wants shit done now. Today I turned in the CIF gear that we had and scheduled his JPPOS pick up. It took me all of 4 freaking hours if that.

It just really pisses me off that they didn't take care of this soldier right away. It is so stupid and lazy to cool their heels until sombody lights a fire under thier asses. I don't mind the work and making sure this soldier is taken care, but what ever happened to his squad leader or the rest of the chain of command. I am just sick to my stomach with how this thing went down. I am just done dealing with people that are just here to collect paychecks.
