Hey everyone, I'm a Marine Corps reservist looking to switch to the AF to become a PJ. I've come to the site to see if I can get any advice on navigating bureaucratic b.s in order to start the process. I also would like learning more about what I can do to prepare and to just to talk to actual professionals in this career field, who can give me an accurate depiction of how the lifestyle is.

I know this is just an intro thread, but does anyone know how long a lat move package takes to get signed at a reserve command. Also I recently sprained my ankle, while bouldering, my buddy wasn't paying attention and half of my body missed the crash pad. My question is if my conditional release package gets signed any time soon did I fuck up my chances of lat moving anytime soon? and if so is it likely that they will sign another one in the next few months?
Thanks

There's a giant MCO on Inter-unit transfers, Inter-service transfers, conditional releases, and the like. I'm not sure if your answer will be in there, but its a start.

If where you're lat moving is contingent on the use of your ankle, it will be up to them. You would be wasting your time and a slot going to selection if your ankle isn't fully healed IMO. Take care of your body first.
