I joined the SOF community after Desert One (1980) and have been supporting ever since as a US Army service member or as a contractor.
I also assist retiring or separation military in their transitions so that folks do not make some of the same mistakes I did when I retired after 27 1/2 years of service. I have been a volunteer for the past 9 years as part of the MacDill AFB Transition Assistance Program briefing on what to expect if candidates are interest in working for a Defense Contractor.
