I’m currently an Active Army Infantryman stationed at Fort Drum, NY.
Unfortunately, my job as it stands is not what I expected it would be; I don’t have much opportunity to do my job, even on deployment I didn’t do my job. I seldom have opportunities to push myself within the unit unless it’s whenever I train on my own outside of work. I desire something where I’m surrounded by like-minded people that are all working towards a common goal and lifting each other up on the way there. I am attending SFAS at the end of March which is the primary reason for my being on this forum, I would like to look into the mentor ship program ASAP.
