Every time I watch MASH, I end up crying, lol.
Especially his brother.Mahomes family wants nothing more than to be famous for no reason than they are the wife/brother of Patrick Mahomes.
Started watching "Quaterback" on Netflix.
The series follows 3 NFL quarterbacks through the 2023/2023 season. They follow: Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs), Kirk Cousins (Vikings), and Marcus Mariota (Falcons).
The NFL has turned me off with all their b.s., so I haven't watched or paid close attention in a few years, but still like the game and have general "awareness".
That said, while nothing necessarily new or Earth shattering is revealed, the series still captured my interest. I'm about 3 or 4 episodes in. It's interesting to see the subtle differences, as well as well as similarities, in the approaches. Mahomes is an energetic, young leader. Cousins seems like a tough, methodical grinder (gained more respect for the guy). Mariota comes across as a quieter, almost tired veteran just going through the motions. That may or may not be accurate, but that's my early assessment.
Anyway, if you like football, it's been worth the watch so far.

You had me at the 70s sound track.....
Side note looks like finale season of Billions is out. I need to rewatch last season to remind my old man brain of where all the key players are.....
Ima Wikipedia that shit or something. No Axe, no mas.
Any of you guys have Apple TV? Just watched Hijacked. I thought it was pretty good.
Fuck me.
Coming to America AND Police Academy are in tv at same time, I'm so conflicted.
I'll choose Coming to America.

Swamp Kings on Netflix about Urban Meyer's tenure as the coach of UF. Tebow and all of those dudes. Aaron Hernandez, was mentioned once or twice with about as many appearances. For you WWE fans, think of a less severe form of the Chris Benoit whitewashing.
It was a good series of 4 episodes, but it slowly transitions from documentary to rehabbing Urban Meyer's reputation. By the end it is still a good story, but more of a celebratory look back than a proper documentary.
The..."legal problems" of Meyer's team (and all of them. Hmmmm), covered about 10 minutes, if that, more of a nod to them for "balance" or whatever than actual content. The series could have easily had another episode or two in it, but that conflicts with the overall narrative. These were just good old boys, playing a game they love, mentored by the perfect dad/ coach.
Very entertaining, worth your time if you're a football fan, but don't expect it to go too deep into dark places.
