Chief Wiggam is an offence to all those on The Thin Blue Line. The Simpsons should be cancelled outright.Because nothing can be remotely funny anymore, so stupid.

The irony of the situation, and it's sad really, is that it's all the result of an (unfunny) comedian. Never really got into the Simpsons but it's not about them really. It's just another sad commentary on our society.Because nothing can be remotely funny anymore, so stupid.

Showtime's Penny Dreadful ran for three seasons and, despite becoming a lesser-seen favorite TV series in horror communities, was unceremoniously cancelled when its ratings failed to meet expectations. A follow-up series, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, has been announced, which will head into production next year.
Variety describes the new series as being "set in 1938 Los Angeles, a time and place deeply infused with Mexican-American folklore and social tension. Rooted in the conflict between characters connected to the deity Santa Muerte and others allied with the Devil, the new series will explore a mix of the supernatural and the reality of the time period."
Lethal Weapon Season 2 : Cole is awesome, he plays the CIA role really well.. [Stiffler from American Pie]....
Seal Team Season 2 : I haven't cried this hard since that Taylor Swift concert.......
Holy crap! I know I'm getting to the party late but I finally finished the entire series of The Americans. I don't really know what to say. I have no idea why I never heard more about this show. Seriously, it's quite possibly the best series I've seen; a masterpiece. Totally worth the time invested. Frankly, I probably owe AWP a bottle Bushmills (or something better) for turning me on to this one.AWP said:Amazon Prime has the entire series of The Americans. What a great show. It has to have one of the best series finales in TV, Top 10 or so. Great writing, solid cast, character development throughout the entire series...
I'd heard of the show but for whatever reason it never grabbed me to check it out. Had some downtime last night and couldn't find anything else of interest. So, I decided to check it out based on your post. Watched the first 3 episodes last night. Thanks! ...didn't realize there are 6 seasons, though. Hopefully, I can make it through...that's a lot of tv time!
BTW, in a timely coincidence, I happened to watch "The 1980's" or whatever it's called (a CNN documentary about the 80's) on Saturday night. The episode focused on Reagan and Russia. It provided a great refresher as a backdrop going into this series.
