My Random TV Thread

Jack turned into a killer, he doesn't date "OK LOOKING" women like Cathy anymore. He sleeps with hot spies and takes down corrupt politicians. Besides he doesn't need her to defeat the Venezuelan government, he only needs a shipping container full of goodies to prove his theory. When you live a life being right, you're just always right.....

:ROFLMAO: :-o ;-) 8-)
Meh... Sounds like every other formuliac spy action show... Which is what I saw when watching it. Harrison Ford played him best.

I'm just getting around to season 2 of Jack Ryan. I'm only a few episodes in but it's much better than season 1, which I thought was just kind of meh.

Also watching The Dublin Murders on Starz. It's different; a more deliberate pace than other shows I typically like. It's only on episode 3 and I can't say I really understand what's going on but I'm trusting the story development and seems like it will be excellent.

I heard they trashed SWCC. I’m
Not sure if I want to see what he said, or protest by not watching it.

You will throw a shoe at the TV. Here's why:

In the first place, the SWCC boat driver is portrayed as somebody who couldn't hack SEAL training and ends up having to settle for SWCC.

And if that isn't enought to piss you off, he disobeys orders to stay with the boat for when we want to exfil...abandons the boat on the riverbank and goes traipsing off into the jungle on his own with a rifle, which, in turn, leads to the capture and ultimately the execution of the SAD GB team leader.

Astonishingly, he is not in the least reprimanded by his teammates for this and the whole incident is played like it's SOP--which makes me think the writers never grasped the SWCC concept or bothered to do their research.

I have no dog this race and it bothered the shit out of me.

Concur. If this stuff bothers you, you probably want to steer clear and spare your tv.

FWIW, stuff like this will always be around in shows/movies, always has been, always will be. It's Hollywood. It is what it is.
