My Random TV Thread

1883 was good - but came up short as far as "establishing" the Dutton empire like I thought it would.

He wrote Sicario - and it is one of my favorite flicks.
Mayor of Kingston - tried it - just not feeling it.
Lawman: Bass Reeves - great concept but it seemed to run out of steam.
Lioness - haven't watched it primarily because of my current degree of Taylor Sheridan burnout
I really want to watch "Landman" when it comes out - mostly because Billy Bob Thornton - I have never seen him in something that wasn't good. Even his bit part on "Big Bang Theory" as a weirdo was epic to me.
1883 hit me right in the feels. I said what I said. Took me a week to watch the last 10 minutes of the show.

Mayor of Kingstown was good.

Lawman, couldn't get into it.

Lioness is one of the best shows on TV right now. Season 1 was great. Season 2 is greater.

1883 was terrific; nearly perfect and Taylor Sheridan's best work. View it on it's own, not in the context of the Yellowstone world.

I haven't seen Lioness.

Regarding 1883, in real life I cannot tell you the last time I cried. I’ve been to funerals for my closest family members and would not let myself cry. For some reason, I get caught up in the stories of some TV shows and movies.

The ending of Titanic, and the ending of 1883, both brought genuine tears from my eyes.
