We've been a post-truth society for a long time. So no, it won't matter.The real question we should all be asking... will this video matter?
It proves that the people who said "she didn't even hit him" were lying. It proves that she was making deliberate decisions, not panicking, and (actually pretty damning) is that she was antagonizing and engaging with an LEO who was giving her lawful orders. Her girlfriend (they aren't married, they just call each other 'wives') was antagonizing and filming for clout.
I am desperately trying to just hold on here and see what new videos drop, but my assumptions from my earlier post were at least close.
But... will it matter to people who already have a narrative they want to espouse (both "sides")? I don't think it will.
The great thing about a video like this is, anyone can make anything they want out of it.
What I saw confirms my hypothesis that this was a good shoot. Others will look at it and say, "you can tell from the body came that the cop lunged forward at the last second, and that's why she hit him. She was a legal observer only trying to get away. THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!!!"
