Hello guys,
This year i completed the negotiator course in GATE/PMESP (Special tactical actions group/São Paulo state military police). In Brazil we use the FBI based doctrine. I would be happy to contact other negotitors here,

We are very few trained operatives, so we have 3 negotiators in our group, that also are part of the tactical team. We don´t have sufficient operatives to split a negotiator team.

I deram of someday attend a Negotiator course in FBI, is that very hard for a foreign police officer to attend this course?

Congratulations! I'm not sure if there are slots for law enforcement officers from outside the US. I'd like to think they would be open to the idea. Paging @0699.

Try to get a slot in the FBI National Academy...reach out to the Legat office (FBI) at the U.S. Embassy, they can sponsor you (with your departments approval and pay) to the NA. That can open doors to other training and liaising with other U.S. departments.

It is possible. Whether you want to attend the National Academy or just complete a negotiator course, your first move is as @Kraut783 said. Contact the legal attache in the U.S. Embassy. They will explain the rest of the process.

Good luck.
