Is this for SCI comms? Bottom line the most important thing they can bring to the table is MOS proficiency. Next is leadership skills, then closely followed by military appearance. This being the infantry after all. It doesn't hurt if you can keep up on a unit hike.

Most of your infantry peers will not have graduated from SERE/MCWIS/Airborne/Ranger/RSLC/Mountain Leader/Pathfinder. These are all great courses, but I question how critical they are to your goal if none of the grunts are attending these courses. You know what the most elite course we had at 1st Force when I was there? Ammo driver. You could never find anyone with that qual when you needed one. That said, Mountain Comm is a great course because it teaches you highly relevant skills in a challenging environment. It buys you proficiency, not credibility. The Advanced Infantry Course or Squad Leaders Course could provide that, but I don't know how the MOS restrictions work for that.

Can these Marines attend ITX with the BLT? That is a real money maker.

Under "qualifications" in the screening portion, I think you need to specify some type of test to assess their proficiency in their MOS. Otherwise you'll get meatheads who can ruck, swim, push /whatever, but suck at the job that the supported element expects them to do. For example, when I tried out for the 160th I had to do a bunch of physical stuff, yes, but I also had to do the intel portion of an air mission brief. Figure out before you take them on whether or not they can do the job.

Also, how confident are you that you'll be able to institute a program like this? What happens when you're getting a demand signal for X amount of troops, but you only have X-minus available because you can't get enough people through your pipeline? Are you going to let the supported element go short, or are you just going to send troops down? And if it's the latter, then is an A&S program really that important?
