Just wanted to post this info up, as I got it confirmed recently.
For prior service personnel who are not a) Already graduates of Army or USMC BCT, b) SOF personnel, or c) USAF Security Forces will be required to complete Army BCT and AIT once you enlist in the Army or Guard. Additionally, the way the regs are written, prior service Army or USMC personnel who have been out longer than 36 months would also have to repeat BCT and AIT. The rank you got out at will be valid for 48 months after separation, barring an overmanning at that specific pay grade in the MOS you are attemtping (not really an issue for SF I suppose). After 48 months you could come back in reduced one paygrade.
