Grim reaper, fuck you, we're on tonight.

Next year's schedule came out, third year together on night work. Job is easier when your partner has your back.

She has been a partner for decades, on and off. She was my EMT basic partner in 2003. She went to paramedic school in late 2000s, I ended up being her FTO, she passed.

Then, was my paramedic partner for a few years, she left for neighboring agency, then we linked up a few years later. Last 2 years, full time together, we know each other.

Maria knows her well, I know her husband well, Gary is part of my war band (SHTF in our AO, we can all link up with a few others).

Today would have been 53 years ma and pops were married, we lost her 8 years ago, pops is in a fucking raw mood.

So, went over there, @RackMaster told me to give an awkward hug to old man.

I took a page out of our Helen's page and did this, she pulled this shit on Maria when they first met.

TDY to Morocco for a few days this week. Our camel racing was cancelled so instead we took a 3 day motorcycle tour of the desert. I didn’t tell them before hand my motorcycle experience was limited to the Navy’s safety center training class they make you take before you are allowed to drive a bike on base.

On the last night after we dropped the bikes back off, we rode camels to a desert camp. 10/10 experience. Except my back. My back hurts. But also I didn’t drop the bike once which for me is a victory. Also we never lost cell service, even being in the middle of no where. Maybe next time I’ll have to try going through Algeria to lose it.
