Yup, headed to Goodfellow end of June. Apparently they’ve removed the Arabic part of the course and it’s being shortened to only about 5 weeks, so I’d assume my RASP report date will be pushed forward as well.

Congratulations! Also not the worst place to get paid to learn a language, but I'm sure at this point you'd die in perfect peace if you never saw another foggy morning again.

Monterey is very pretty and an awesome place to be… until it’s not. I’ve enjoyed my time here but I’m definitely ready to move on.

Spent a week there a few months ago. Lot's to see and do. We mainly enjoyed the peace. At the city park up on the hill. We would walk down in he mornings and uber back up at night.

Hell yeah man, I’m glad you enjoyed it. It’s a great place to visit, especially if you’re into the more quiet / homey vibe of the place compared to other CA cities.

Spent time training at FT Ord in the late 80s and early 90s. I mostly remember the quiet, chilly, foggy mornings doing PT. Was last there in 2010. I could live in that area.

If California ever got right again, I grew up in the southern sierras. There are some places we would move to immediately. Have alot of friends and family out there.
