Super Sweet Movie Discussion Thread

'Solo: A Star wars story' was pretty awesome. Too bad Disney and Kathleen Kennedy killed the golden goose with 'The Last Jedi'. :ROFLMAO:

Star Wars died a terrible death. They brought the best Legends character back to canon and to put him in a kids shows, that's the most they could salvage from a wreck.
I thought the first 30 minutes of Solo were pretty good, love the part where he fights in the imperial army. That was pretty cool and brought some nostalgia back. But it went downhill from there.

I dunno, 'Solo' was leagues better than the abortion known as 'The Last Jedi'. To be fair, I got Solo on sale and hadn't seen it at theaters; so it wasn't a bad investment. Rouge One was pretty good. Honestly, the side stories are hands down better than the new 'main story episodes'.

Oh yeah, I absolutly agree that it was way better. I may be a little too harsh because so far I've been massively dissapointed by the ongoing trilogy, but the third act of Solo was just boring to me. The villain was incredibly bland, and really cool scenes like the SD moving through that static cloud / haze didn't save it for me. Didn't think it was bad, but OK. Expected more.

Saw Vice last night. Movie wasn't bad but nothing amazing but Christian Bale...now that was a great performance.
