Super Sweet Movie Discussion Thread

When it came out it was kind of under the radar...but in case you've missed it, Bridge of Spies is an excellent movie; Spielberg produced it, the Coen brothers wrote it. Fine performances by Hanks and Mark Ryland who won Best Supporting Actor. Based on the Soviet shoot down of Power's U2 and the subsequent prisoner exchange.

Haven't seen it since it came out in the cinemas, but I quite like Bridge of Spies too.

The nifty thing about Bob Lazar, IIRC, is that he initially spoke about element 115 when all the scoffers said it didn't exist. Well, now it does. Makes one wonder....
He was on Joe Rogan on Friday. It's a good listen.

Update on MIB.
It starts off kind of slow but after a while it picks up tremendously. I can't remember a movie where everyone was audibly laughing because of how funny it was. Definitely recommend watching it, I'd even put it in the top 2 of the franchise.

I think Lazar's FOS. Annie Jacobsen's podcast with Joe Rogan was much more believable and even she thinks Lazar's telling the truth. I think he saw one or two things and embellished them or read way too much into the events.

I subscribe to quite a few YouTube personalities and channels. At least five of these channels are directly related to trailers. So I'd like to that I am quite a bit above average in knowing what movies are coming out. I check my subscriptions at least in the morning when I'm getting ready for work and definitely before going to bed. I might have an ocd..

The Hill. Sean Connery. An oldie that I just caught on TV for the first time. About a British Army prison in North Africa--not for POWs, but for British soldiers who've committed various offenses. Great cast, acting, cinematography.
I can't stress this enough, this movie will be batshit crazy, dumber than a DoD contractor, and I'm still there. Vanessa Kirby, call me.
This on the other hand is probably going to be a dumpster fire a la Pearl Harbor with Affleck some years ago. "Cheese" doesn't describe the trailer.
