7 billion people and there's a quota on non-Chinese movies (25 a year last I heard). It would be a huge market to ignore.

I’m watching the living shit outta Top Gun and IDGAF about any inconsistencies.
I also went and saw Spider-Man: Far From Home and holy SHIT that movie was fantastic. If that thing was an hour longer I wouldn’t have complained one bit.

So I might start enjoying movies more. My GF went to the discount theatre (she saw Booksmart, told me she was happy she went with a friend and not me, ha)...$3.50, I remember when it was a treat from my pops for us to go to the theater for $3.25 for a matinee, and it was considered expensive to go to an evening show for $5!!!

Good story. Decent watch.
Went and saw Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, definitely worth a watch and while it is set against the backdrop of the Helter Skelter. It's more of a fiction based micro slice of that time with the usual Tarantino feel.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and found out two things, stuff about the god damned hippies, and Margaret Qualley is going to be a future ex-wife of mine.
