The China Thread (Threat)

Reading LOTS of speculation online that Biden Administration knew about and have been tracking the balloon for days; that they chose not report it to prevent any controversies about the upcoming China trip and perhaps having to cancel or delay. Their hand was forced when reports of the sightings began hitting the internet. I don’t have any trouble believing this scenario; I just wish the government would stop acting like ‘we’ are morons.

Same guy who said he'd give China 24 hours heads up if we were going to do something? He goes to work for a company owned by China after retirement, just like Mattis.

There is absolutely no way that NORAD wasn't watching this for day's. I guarantee there was an escort, even if it was out of altitude range. Jets from Canada or Alaska would have responded before it even came close go the Aleutian Islands.

A little off the topic thread, but I believe this video has some relevance at these two timelines: 08:28 - 09:37 and 11:00 -11:24.

First sequence is my concern of how did the data collected by the balloon get back to China: If a satellite com link wasn't used I'll laugh my butt-off if they used the National Weather Service's ground stations or even used our cell phone providers.

The second is less relevant, but interesting.
