I think we get biased here on this site because people here are generally much more astute and attuned to politics.

This is true, but American politics is also driven by the vocal minorities. If the people who are politically attuned keep it an issue for long enough it becomes an issue for the average American.

Trumps attitude change is concerning. I hope all of our leaders are not included on an Epstein list, but I’m also not dumb. Anyone who partook or kept quiet about what was going on should be thrown in a public stockade with unlimited things to throw at them for 20 years, at a minimum.

The "pertinent information" thing he keeps doing is extra weird.

It's all a hoax, but actually some of these documents are real and we'll let you see them.

I think a few years ago, pre-Trump, pre-COVID, maybe. I think now everything Trump does or says gets totally blown up as the worst thing ever (he is literally Hitler) that this is just one more thing in the thousand things that's just noise.

Absolutely right. That's why people need to be aware of, and concerned about, things that "don't concern them" in places they don't live. Because either "that" is coming to your town, or the fallout from it will, very soon.

I don't think most people really know about it or care. As an exercise I asked people in my department, almost none of them know "Jeffrey Epstein" or what is going on. Now, they are very polarized in other political topics, but I got a lot of "I have no clue who he is." I think it's gotten lost in all of the amplified political theater. I'm not sure that's true, brother. Unlike say Pride Month that only one side cares about, average peeps on both sides care about the Epstein thing. It's just like President Biden's very obvious years-long in-compos mentis that one side played up and the other side flatly denied, news outlets on both sides--and the pseudo-indi new media--are running with this. We ALL see it. We ALL know we're being lied to. We just don't know what the lie is, or where it leads.

My favorite one right now (both teams) involves Maurene Comey.

She's was secretly helping the pedophile ring/anti-Trump parties by both destroying real evidence and making up the hoax evidence against Trump. The reason nothing was released in the 2024 election is because she hadn't completed destroying/creating evidence.

Blue team-
She's been secretly building the case against Trump since 2019 but didn't have enough to "nail him" before the 2024 elections. She was close to acquiring new information to blow the case open before Trump fired her.

I agree, we ALL see it. It just doesn't affect us. The economy, immigration, crime, war, yes. Some ultra rich dude doing pedo things doesn't affect the average American, so it just becomes more of the "it's-the-democrats-no-it's-the-republicans" spider monkey screeching chorus that every--every--topic with Trump has turned into.

I could be wrong, you could be wrong. We'll see. It's Friday and I've already been wrong, like, 30 times according to my boss.
