I'll be the first to admit that math is not my thing, but will also be the first to admit I use it on a daily basis and feel bad that I was one of 'those' students in high school.

"What's the point of using this if we will never use it in the real world". Sorry Mr. Thorbort!

Thought this was kinda cool....as did my 16 year who is a math geek. (his term)

 
I never did well at math, and I hate it. Guess what? Every time I give a medication, I do math. When I do research at work I use statistics. Also, I used the equation for circumference of a circle (and pool sizes) to determine weight per square foot when filled with water so I could see if I could put it on my septic field.

Math is everywhere. EVERYWHERE.
