President Trump is speaking at West Point's graduation today. My family is going; I'm not, but only because I need to get set up for a more-involved commissioning ceremony.
My daughter asked me when it would end so she could plan the rest of the day. "It's President Trump, honey. It's gonna be a while." ;)

My nephew graduated from Liberty when Trump spoke, the family said it was a pretty big ordeal. I worked EMS in the Clinton motorcade when he spoke at UNC-CH's graduation, THAT was a very long, drawn-out event.
It's always a big hassle when a president comes to graduation here. For me the worst part is having to remain in place until the president moves out. That's what keeps me from getting to where I need to be to set up for the commissioning, which is why I'm not going to graduation.
I get that it needs to happen for security and I'm not mad about it. It's just a condition we have to work around.

Ever.
You know, I am starting to think that the very loud minority of people that gasp and clutch their pearls at everything this admin does isn't actually representative of the majority of the country. It's almost like (follow me here)... it's almost like there is a coordinated effort to make fringe opinions seem like they're the majority opinion and every time I see more data that counteracts that narrative, it makes me think so even more.

To highlight a broader swath of polls: He's sitting around a 46% average.
Given how polarizing he is, this is (arguably) more impressive than Rasmussen rating him over 50%.
I am not gonna use a word like "stunning" or "shocking" especially with everything going on, but that approval rating is wild. Given the context of the zeitgeist.
America knew that things like DEI, mass uncontrolled illegal immigration, runaway inflation, and the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle weren't right. Even the zealots knew it in their hearts. It just took a permission structure for them to say it.
