I am not following- Kash was dual-hatting as ATF/FBI director- he's still the FBI lead cop, and we nominated Dricsoll... is he not up for a senate hearing/confirmation? The ATF director's job is an appointment with a hearing.

Who's been fired in the past few months? 4 women, Army+Air Force JAGs, a few generals seen as "disloyal or DEI-supporting", and the black CJCS whom our SECDEF has said may have got the job because of DEI:
Now, I dont for one second believe you (or most others here) would determine "wokeness" in that way, but people in the administration do.
If you are a minority or woman it is almost always up for debate on if you "earned" your spot or not.

Wiles will be the one to have Musk fired. Everything I've read about the lady, you don't cross her or Trump, so getting on her bad side is a great way to "get got." If Trump starts letting high profile folks go, there's an excellent chance she played a major role.
That's why i said "almost all" and "people in the administration"; its never 100% of everybody. I don't think Trump himself particularly cares about DEI outside of knowing it's a popular talking point.

I'm still ticked off at myself. When the market opened this morning I was going to grab a bunch of cheap 600 Strike SPY calls for May. They were selling for .26 I got wrapped up in some things and never looked at the market during the day. Those calls were selling for .83 each now. I would have made about 3x on the money, but never put the order in. At least I was able to average as much as possible yesterday.
Missed opportunity. You shouldn’t listen to me at all about anything, and that’s the most gracious I can be to myself.
ETA- if you put some small options on QQQ when Trump posted ‘great time to buy’- $1k returned $1.2M.

Part of the initiative to lower the manpower level is to outsource jobs. Can someone name one job that is cheaper to contract for than to hire a GS/WG to do? This is @AWP’s wet dream.
I like the concept of cutting waste (especially to consolidate supervisors where people only have few staff), but having contractors do work is not more efficient and certainly not cheaper, especially professional employees. Do they not realize how bad the Government is at writing PWS’s?
