So, uh, these are some numbers I guess? There is no defending the media at this point. I would love some neutral coverage, doesn't need to be positive, especially if there are scandals.

People wonder why Hegseth and Parnell aren't holding press conferences and doing updates via twitter. . .well I can see why.
This is the only thing in relation to tariffs that I care about- China's yuan has bottomed out (worst since 2007). They're overleveraged in real estate and propping up their fake economic power, have been for decades. China (who routinely flouts WTO rules and is the worst actor on the world stage in trade) even went as far as filing a complaint over the tariffs. Very rich.
I'll take a page out of the left's book here (thanks to unfunny activist Stephen Colbert)- "I'll happily pay the increase in cost to hurt China now and in the future."
I don't care about you Temu order. I do care about the impact of folks losing their jobs, taking pay cuts, or otherwise being affected by the tariffs, cause I am an asshole, but I am not a scumbag. But with all that being said- if these tariffs are the economic dagger they're looking like, I am willing to accept some breakage and short term pain in return for an American economic resurgance and re-establishment of the gorilla in the room for decades to come.

When he doesn't... what? Resign? I think this was a "you're fired if you don't resign" scenario, and Waltz will spin it into something like Gaetz- "It was made clear that I was distracting from all the great work this admin is doing, thank you president Trump for the opportunity, I look forward to making millions as some other NGO in the future."
All the reporting is saying Waltz and Alex Wong resigned and they're out. I was not a fan of Waltz from the start of his tenure, albeit short. Hawkish on Iran, insiders reported that he was adversarial to Hegseth. I said it from the very beginning of SignalNothingburger that he should go.
While I don't think his letter is public and his X account doesn't have a statement, I think this one is done and dusted. Gives the liberal white women a firing over the event, Hegseth doesn't get fired, issue over.
Stephen Miller is by FAR my favorite Trump appointee. This dude is an absolute savage- unfortunately, he's gonna get rung up for murder because of this video.

I think my favorite thing about him is his apparent and absolute disdain and disgust with the media. He hates them, it's obvious, and it's GREAT.
